I was in the mood for something light and fluffy, so I decided to read this book. I was spot on with my prediction. Apart from just being light and fluffy, it was absolutely adorable!
This story is told in 14 different points of view and I surprisingly didn’t mind at all. It’s about two people who have obvious chemistry and everyone sees it, but for some reason they can’t seem to work things out. As soon as things got going, I already found myself rooting for Gabe and Lea just like all the other characters were. I’m usually not a huge fan of overly sappy love stories, but this one is actually quite realistic. Of course I’m all for romance, but not for things that would never actually happen in real life. I feel like this little love story could most definitely occur in real life. It was fun to see all the different characters’ perspectives on Gabe and Lea’s situation.
Sandy Hall even included a local university squirrel’s perspective and a university bench’s perspective, which were both equally hilarious.
This book made me feel all warm inside, like a nice cup of hot chocolate when it’s cold outside.
